Wonder Gag Bit has a very popular gag shank, its loose shanks allow mouthpiece to move forward when reins are pulled, it works on several parts of horse's head and mouth and tongue allowing time for horse to think before curb chain is pulled and mouthpiece is tightened. It is only recommended for experienced riders
Sweet Iron Mouth is designed to rust over time which encourages saliva production and creates a sweeter taste that increases acceptance of the bit by horse. Once the bit comes in contact with horse's mouth oxidization takes place. With passage of time, the bit begins to look rusty. The rust is not harmful to the horse.
The twisted wire snaffle does not allow much chance for a horse to develop a consistent and soft connection with the bit.
It’s best favoured for occasional use on horses that are strong and heavily pulls and lugs on a rider’s hands or proves otherwise unresponsive.
Extra care should be taken by the rider as horse responds to the action of the rider. This will encourage the horse to feel comfortable in the rider’s hands, and then the horse can be transitioned back to a softer bit.
