Product Description
Bradoon - Loose Ring Jointed Bradoon Copper (Cuprium)
Bradoons work in the exact same way as a snaffle, it has thinner mouthpiece and smaller rings then a snaffle and sits above the curb to regulate horizontal flexion, single jointed Bradoon bit distributes even pressure across the tongue and lips. Bradoons are used with either a double or full bridle
Loose Ring
The movable rings of the snaffle bit automatically ensure the correct position of the bit in the horse’s mouth, the loose ring is a circular ring which rotates around the mouthpiece freely movable rings enable the horse to slightly change the position of the bit in his mouth promoting relaxation and chewing from the horse, the loose ring therefore keeps the bit more mobile than any other ring type.
Copper (Cuprium)
Cuprium material mix: 85% copper, 4% silicon, rest zinc for High breaking strength.
Copper encourages the production of saliva and the oxidation is much appreciated by horses because it warms up very quickly in the horse's mouth as compared to other materials. Copper keeps the mouth wet and responsive.
